Frequently asked questions:

  • When I go down to the bottom of the pool, my ears hurt. Does this prevent me from becoming a good diver? - If you have no ear disease, then no. This is a temporary effect  due to water pressure.
  • What are the most popular injuries associated with diving? - Sunstroke and seasickness. they can be easily avoided. The most common injuries caused by diving are scratches and bites. They can be avoided by wearing a wetsuit, keeping arms and legs at a distance from the bottom.
  • What about sharks? - If you are lucky, you will see a shark. If  something ever happened associated with sharks, then it happened during the feeding of sharks or spearfishing. If you see a shark passing by, it just swims past and this is one of very rare, pleasant images.
  • Are there any special problems for women diving? - Except pregnancy, no. Physiologists know very little about the effects of diving on the fetus during pregnancy. During pregnancy and when trying to conceive, it is recommended to refrain from diving. Menstruation is normal and not cause for concern.
  • How deep can you dive? - With the required education and experience, the limit of sports diving is 40 meters / 130 feet. For beginners it's 18 meters. The most popular dives are at a depth of 12 meters. The water at this depth is warm and the views are more beautiful.
  • What happens if I finish all my air? - This does not happen often, because you have an indicator that shows how much air you have left. This way you will be returned to the surface with an adequate supply of air. However, to answer your question, if you run out of air, you can use one for two with your friend. There are other options that you will learn in the process of training.
